An Inorganic Experiment: An Application of Second Order 31P NMR Computer Simulation

Abstract. This experiment is designed for senior undergraduate and graduate students. They prepare a nickel organophosphorus ylide complex using the Schlenk technique and then investigate the effect of field strength and coupling constants on the second order 31P NMR spectrum.
