Abstract. The Saint Francis College Chemistry Club has been invigorated through the use of a service oriented outreach program, Rural Outreach Chemistry for Kids (R.O.C.K.) The R.O.C.K. program has been in operation for approximately two years and we have reached over 600 K–12 students through a number of outreach activities, both on and off campus. The focus of the R.O.C.K. program is to have the K–12 students actively involved in the presentations that are organized and run by the St. Francis College Chemistry Club members.
