Abstract. One-dimensional (1H, 13C, DEPT), and two-dimensional (COSY, HETCOR) NMR experiments are used to assemble the chemical structures of monoterpene unknowns assigned to senior instrumental analysis students. Students were asked to use their knowledge of NMR to deduce the structure of their assigned compound.
