An experiment is described that incorporates the senses of smell, touch, hearing and sight in exploring the Le Chatêlier’s principle to provide students with a unique and structured inquiry experience through multi-sensory learning. A new laboratory format, the Learning Lab Report, was used to encourage reflective thinking and promote scientific inquiry through the use of conceptual questions.
