Chemical Similarity Methods- A Tutorial Review

Abstract. The article reviews four important methods for studying chemical similarity. The four methods are (i) fingerprint-based similarity, (ii) physiochemical property descriptors based similarity, (iii) virtual screening based similarity and (iv) SMILE based chemical similarity search.
