Abstract. Structure similarity of zingeron and curcumin, was investigated using Tanimoto coefficient and Euclidean distance measurents. Eugenol was used as a reference to compare the similarity between the two.  It was found that zingeron and curcumin has low structural similarity. This shows that even two has species similarity but they are different at molecular level with quite different properties.
