An Alternative Method for Balancing Redox Reactions

Abstract. An improved method for balancing redox reactions, particularly redox reactions in aqueous solutions, is described here. Using this method, students can balance the equation directly and efficiently on any reaction given in their problem sets and tests without separating the overall reactions into two half-reactions.
