A Simple Reflux Assembly Modification For Use In Vapor-Liquid Phase Equilibrium Experiments

Abstract. A reflux assembly with easy operation and construction was designed for liquid-vapor equilibrium measurements. Isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium measurements on cyclohexane-ethanol system were performed and compared with the published data on this system. The setup provides sufficiently satisfactory vapor-liquid equilibrium data in a relatively short experimental time.
