Microplate as a Convenient Tool for Identification of Inorganic Compounds by Drop Reactions

Abstract. During practical exams of Chemistry Olympiads, the participants are often asked to identify dissolved inorganic compounds by their mutual reactions. We found that a transparent 96-well microplate could be used as a cheap and convenient substitute for a set of glass test tubes in this experiment.
