Four Nobel Prizes in Strasbourg from 1987 to 2016: Three in Chemistry, One in Physiology or Medicine

Abstract. Most of the French Nobel Prizes have been awarded to Parisian scientists. Paris is the reference for scientific level in France with the prestigious scientific Institutions and Universities. In chemistry only 10 of 171 laureates since 1901 have been awarded in France. However, three of these have gone to those connected to Strasbourg.
