Abstract. Interest in non-majors chemistry and applied science courses can be improved through incorporating historical events from chemistry into the subject matter. This article gives multiple anecdotal examples of ways that historical information could be used to make non-majors chemistry and applied science courses more memorable in the minds of the students.
