Abstract. Previously reported colorimetric procedures for the determination of ascorbic acid in vitamin C tablets and sodium hypochlorite in bleach solutions are summarized and a novel colorimetric procedure is presented for determining the orthophosphoric acid content of colored, tangy cola beverages.
