Abstract. Photoacoustic spectroscopy was applied to demonstrate musical notes within a gas cell and to create harmony. The adequate sensory demonstration of the PA effect may be of particular interest in chemistry and thermodynamic pedagogy. This demonstration also allows students to find the relationship between music and science.
